Our early-morning breakfast stop on the way back home from Hope this morning.
This particular A&W is a sort of "old faithful" breakfast stop for us on the first day of a trip, and heading east. This time though, it was in reverse, and provided a breakfast (and pit) stop on the way back home from a stay.
We had left our accommodation in Hope rather 'full' of coffee prepared in our room, we just needed a little food to take the edge off -- for the ladies, it was 'teen burgers' -- for me, a breakfast 'sausage & egger' sandwich.
They were well-prepared, hot off the grill, and did exactly what we had wanted them to do -- provide a tasty, breakfast snack, on our way home. -

We are huge fans of A&W,
But this location is unfortunately not a fit into this.
This A&W has a serious issue, the burgers are always dry the quality at this store is low and the the staff don't seem to care. Ok multiple occasions we have re tried this location only to find the same issues of the burgers being dry. -

Late night check in to a local hotel and wanted to grab a quick bit...the burgers were juicy and the buns hot and crispy what more can you ask for!!

I like A&W. Food is good and you don't get that gross feeling you get from other fast food restaurants. But what sets this one apart is you get to listen to the supervisor bitch out the staff the entire time while you are trying to enjoy a quiet breakfast. This of course makes the rest of the staff miserable

What kind of fast food restaurant doesn't have milkshakes or orange pop? Teen burgers are amazing as are apple pies - done like McDonald's used to make. But don't need to use the bathroom as they have to buzz you in. :/ March 30/13
